GymDandy, a Madison based company that makes athletic space booking easy, will be taking part in the Stadia Sports Business Accelerator this fall.
The accelerator, run by Stadia Ventures, takes place in St. Louis and helps sports startups get to the next level through the combination of equity investment, intensive mentoring and connections to top sport business executives throughout the country.
GymDandy was selected from a group of over 200 applicants and will be part of a five company cohort that will take place over twelve weeks starting in late September.
“The knowledge of the team at Stadia, the quality and relevance of their mentors and the expansive network they bring to the table will be a great asset in helping us grow effectively,” said Nicholas Kartos, Co-Founder of GymDandy.
This is Stadia Ventures third cohort and their second company from Wisconsin. Madison based Fishidy participated in their inaugural program in the fall of 2015.
In the past month GymDandy has moved into new office space in the Madison Enterprise Center, grew their team to four full-time employees and launched with initial pilot customers.
GymDandy makes athletic space easy through management, discovery and reservation tools that connect hosts and renters. Founded in 2015 by Nicholas Kartos and Joe Fahrenkrug, Gymdandy is based in Madison, WI.
